Start Healthy Habits Fitness Challenge & Giveaway!

I wanted to kick off this blog in a big fashion.  What better way to do that than to issue a challenge and host a great giveaway to boot??

Conventional wisdom has it that habits can be formed in just 66 days.  As an Independent Team Beachbody Coach, I hereby challenge you to form your own healthy habit over the next 66 days.  And in making the commitment to do so, you may wind up winning some awesome goodies to help you in your quest...the winner of this giveaway gets to choose between the following 2 prize packages:

Prize Option #1:

One week's worth of Shakeology (winner chooses their preferred flavor, Chocolate, Greenberry or a mix of the two) AND the Shakeology Workouts 2 DVD set AND a $20 Amazon gift card (may I suggest using to get a resistance band for your workouts?)

Prize Option #2

This is not all about the prizes.  It's a challenge, remember?  So, I want you to come up with a fitness goal that is challenging for you, but realistic. It doesn't have to be huge- don't feel you need to train for a marathon or climb Mount Everest over the next 66 days.  You could challenge yourself to form the habit of climbing the stairs everyday at work, parking the farthest from store and office entrances and getting a good walk in or better yet taking a walk or jog at least 4 days each week!  

Being healthy isn't all about moving more though- it's about eating smarter.  Bet you thought I'd say less, right? No, it's smarter. It's about making good choices each day.  So I also challenge you to come up with a good nutritional habit to form over the next 66 days.  Like, say drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day, eating more fruits and vegetables, nixing your fast food lunch for a sensible packed lunch of whole foods.  You get the picture!  The little choices we make each day can add up to big changes.
